José Carrascosa (Escultor y Pintor) nacido en Valencia, adquirió sus conocimientos de su principal maestro el escultor y pintor Francisco Prima Giner (Paco Prima). Ingresó en la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos (Valencia) 1974.
Sus obras de estilo realista pertenecen principalmente a particulares.

¿Qué piensas de la crítica?
Veo su lado positivo si es constructiva, ya que ayuda a perfeccionarte, hay que ser humilde y aceptar todo lo que contribuya a mejorar en el arte.
¿Cuándo realizas tus obras, piensas en que puedan ser adquiridas?
La verdad no, creo que el arte es y debe ser una expresión de los sentimientos, emociones y el modo personal de expresarlos, por supuesto si adquieren la obra es algo gratificante.

Jose Carrascosa (painter and sculptor) born in Valencia. He acquired his knowledge of art from his main teacher, the sculptor and painter Francisco Prima Giner known as Paco Prima. Jose entered the San Carlos Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Valencia, Spain) in 1974.
Jose’s works of realistic style are mainly privately owned.
“What do you think of criticism?”
“I can see the positive side if it is constructive as it then helps you perfect your work. One has to be humble and accept anything that will help improve one’s art.”
“When you are working on a painting or sculpture, do you think about them being sold?”
“No, not really. I think that art is and should be an expression of feelings but obviously if it is then acquired by someone then that is always very gratifying.”
